FCPhaoCoi took the lead 17 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. O. Kishon was the scorer. T. Eliyahu received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 19 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The FCPhaoCoi fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of FCPhaoCoi now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The crowd groaned when T. Kazanidis, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for UKFC. At 25 minutes into the game, UKFC's C. Caputo deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2. T. Eliyahu of FCPhaoCoi was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. It was 1 - 2 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FCPhaoCoi, with 61 percent of the ball.

W. Labrenz got a fingertip on F. Ringenberg's shot from the left 62 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Sotgia got himself booked. The manager of UKFC was not happy. After 70 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave T. Hiển a chance to increase the lead for FCPhaoCoi, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 3. Đ. Đằng could have put his team up another goal 82 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs T. Hiển found it hard to get back into position. L. Ocaña came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over W. Labrenz but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in this half belonged to FCPhaoCoi, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

UKFC's best player was C. Diefenbach. On the other hand, E. Canto's play was disheartening. T. Eliyahu performed admirably for FCPhaoCoi. T. Hiển was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
