Southorn took the lead after 26 minutes as a result of S. Sauret's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. T. Ollinmäki was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by M. Onopko, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

55 minutes into the match B. van de Kamp put Southorn ahead 2 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. The crowd roared its approval when P. Carapío somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Bells's 鄭. 宏楓 (Hongfeng) 57 minutes into the game. A great save by keeper G. Correcig after 61 minutes kept the visitors in the game after S. Winterscheid struck from the left with a real cannonball. 湯. 元敬 (Yuanjing) wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. Southorn managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when D. Abts cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. P. Carapío made a brilliant save 82 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from S. Gerrard on the right hand side. Southorn's M. Onopko saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 83 minutes. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The most dominating Southorn player was without a doubt S. Sauret. O. Ghys turned in a dismal performance, however. Bells's best player was 古. 宇涌 (Yuyong) . 湯. 元敬 (Yuanjing) on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
