Prancis 3 - 1 Sadigol (380759528)

Dark skies made the crowd of 58834 at Arsène Wenger Stadium a little nervous, but the rain held off. Sébastien Blanchard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Pieter-Jan Keijman and Paco Bombín. Prancis started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. They fielded: Ramirez Rul - Bachar, Oz - Erdenay, Rosca, Castel, Brizuela, Torres - Ambrogetti, Yrjänä, Cameron.

Sadigol tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Kaunang - Zucconi, Gölgem, Mabizela, Kalla, Olofsson - Moreels, Kartasasmita, Kumar, Ek - Massardi.

Sadigol clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to T. Castel, but the Prancis player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! With the clock showing 23 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Sadigol resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by R. Olofsson in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. A spectacular volley from L. Ambrogetti almost resulted in a goal, but a good save from the keeper kept it out, and K. Erdenay could only knock the loose ball wide. Prancis's T. Castel was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 32 minutes. Prancis solidified their lead at the 42 minute mark, as S. Cameron dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Prancis enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

T. Castel should probably have put his team up another goal after 58 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by R. Kaunang kept the visitors in the game. Sadigol needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes D. Mabizela made way for T. Ketter. A well placed corner kick from G. Massardi was followed by K. Moreels's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Sadigol, the score now 2 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Brizuela broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Prancis. Confident in their lead, Prancis's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The coach of Prancis was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 85 minutes, W. Sianipar came on for C. Torres. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Prancis, with 69 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Prancis player was without a doubt S. Cameron. W. Sianipar was a disappointment, however. Most important Sadigol player was R. Kaunang. C. Gölgem on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
