Andry increased their lead after 54 minutes when A. Natawijaya broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. L. Novianto of Andry was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. T. Zamroni received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 60 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 5. The Andry fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. With 66 minutes played, Y. Ansori of Andry fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. athletic had a magnificent opportunity after 67 minutes as A. Budiarto hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. After 71 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave R. Mauro a chance to increase the lead for Andry, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 6. The visitors added to their lead 76 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Andry's U. Doni slid just past the home keeper. 2 - 7. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Andry lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 79 minutes in, Andry's W. Sinar received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Possession in this half belonged to Andry, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

R. Pieterz performed admirably for athletic. However, L. Satria made a disastrous appearance. Most important Andry player was T. Zamroni. K. Pulalo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 7.
