Dragonul clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. With 2 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as U. De Vroe, intimidated by the crowd, missed it. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Beast, with 61 percent of the ball.

Beast put in a good effort on the right, but J. Pamic saw his volley fly wide of the mark 61 minutes into the game. After this, you could see that the players of Beast were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The referee showed Dragonul's U. Uribe the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, M. Mignogna was very close to getting through after 88 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. Beast increased the lead as A.
