Clouds darkened the skies at Gooooooolazzo Park as 67515 spectators turned up for the match. Agostino Naselli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Stephen Guite and Ketil Brandt. Golazzo started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Starters: Núñez - Panin, Pellanda - Láng, Blegu, Simionescu, Corvaglia, Cioc - Ghiţă, Baron, Tarãu.

With 6 minutes played, the visitors almost levelled the score. A. Tulbure shot a hard curved free kick, striking the post. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 12 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but J. Núñez got the best of it, blocking the shot from A. Tulbure. Golazzo's L. Láng was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - I. Tarãu managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 0 after 28 minutes. The score became 3 - 0 at 29 minutes into the game, when Golazzo were given a penalty which N. Pellanda blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! The coach of Golazzo was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 40 minutes, N. Voinea came on for M. Corvaglia. The Golazzo players could smell victory in the air. J. Baron wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for C. Iancu after 41 minutes. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Love claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

In the lead, Golazzo adjusted their style of play with 46 minutes gone. E. Blegu unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. At 57 minutes, the visitors got a chance to reduce the score when a penalty was awarded, but A. Tulbure, intimidated by the crowd, missed it. The Golazzo coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 58 minutes into the game. After 59 minutes, the Golazzo players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. Love's A. Tulbure was shown a yellow card after 59 minutes for slicing down an opponent. C. Popa got left behind when Golazzo's I. Tarãu made a sudden run forward after 60 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 4 - 0! The Love coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. After 63 minutes, Love used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. Love showed their counterattack skill 86 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with F. Secãreanu scoring uncontested for 4 - 1. After 87 minutes, Love sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached C. Popa, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 4 - 2. D. Cioc seems to have an uncanny ability to try the unusual. He nearly produced a great goal - unfortunately for Golazzo his shot went just wide this time. Golazzo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Golazzo's top performer was clearly I. Tarãu. D. Cioc on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Love player was without a doubt V. Marinică. However, T. Bãrbulescu made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 2.
