Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Blueprint. With 4 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Blueprint resulted in a counterattack that set G. Marcovici free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. 20 minutes into the game, P. Puiu had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came A. Muresan. Blueprint showed their counterattack skill 30 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with A. Lemming scoring uncontested for 0 - 1. The crowd chanted their encouragement as F.C.'s V. Dascãlu came in from the right after 33 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. F.C. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

F.C. could have put themselves ahead after 54 minutes but A. Klečka missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. After 70 minutes, S. Ucedo came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving F.C. the lead. F.C. put themselves up 3 - 1 when L. Tofan broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 75 minutes Blueprint tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, A. Lemming's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Blueprint were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 81 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to A. Muresan, who smashed it home to make the score 3 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to F.C., who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.

The most dominating F.C. player was without a doubt C. Grigoriu. S. Gržančić on the other hand, had a terrible day. Blueprint's top performer was clearly A. Lemming. A. Caggiano was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
