Murderinc were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of F.C.LCM. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Murderinc, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, E. Burdea scored for Murderinc putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 14 minutes. Murderinc's L. Iordan swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. With 27 minutes played, F. Babu of F.C.LCM fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The corner kick from E. Burdea was powerfully met by the head of Z. Szák to make the score 2 - 0. With 35 minutes played, Murderinc put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Q. El-Shareef, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. It was almost a goal for F.C.LCM following A. Mehenni's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Z. Valdés got himself booked. The manager of F.C.LCM was not happy. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. L. Iordan squirmed through their central defence after 40 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Confident in their lead, Murderinc's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Murderinc, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

F.C.LCM's counterattacks created a good chance for J. Simon on the right after 55 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. It was obvious that Murderinc had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 65 minutes played, L. Iordan could have brought this one home for Murderinc as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. The Murderinc players could smell victory in the air. E. Burdea wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for C. Stănculescu after 70 minutes. After a short break after 70 minutes, Murderinc seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. C. Valverde wanted to play on, but the Murderinc coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by N. Paaske Sørensen. With 82 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of F.C.LCM resulted in a counterattack that set G. Costermans free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Murderinc, with 68 percent of the ball.

Murderinc's top performer was clearly C. Stănculescu. N. Paaske Sørensen on the other hand, had a terrible day. F.C.LCM's best player was C. Pérez de Lama. F. Babu turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
