Barcraiova claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Barcraiova's J. da Cruz increasing the lead to 6 - 0. By then J. da Cruz had scored three goals - a hat trick! With 53 minutes played, K. Spronsen had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal.
