Pollina came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving team-sw the lead. team-sw solidified their lead at the 10 minute mark, as L. Stubner dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. S. Montesinos of TIMISOARA seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by I. Gáspár. team-sw managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when M. Knežić cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After this, you could see that the players of team-sw were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. team-sw increased the lead as O. Hem struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. team-sw's M. Knežić got himself booked for a foul. TIMISOARA were forced into a substitution as Z. Wetterich couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Dziob to come in off the bench. 4 - 1 was the score after the first half. team-sw claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Hem, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. G. Kosanov wanted to play on, but the team-sw coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 65 minutes into the game by A. Siivinen. After 79 minutes, A. Siivinen put team-sw ahead 7 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. TIMISOARA's S. Kluyskens had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 82 minutes having been played. S. Knarr was the replacement. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by team-sw, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important team-sw player was V. Pollina. A. Keszei turned in a dismal performance, however. TIMISOARA's top performer was clearly S. Montesinos. V. Guzmán Taberné on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 7 - 1.
