Ivas Kabačauskas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Benedikt Farnbacher and Frederik Kautz-Prinke. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Felinele. FTW tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Luncaşu - Chiţacu, Cotoc, Fâţă, Fântână - Burghelea, Roşca, Baraboi, Slamna - Dimitriu, Kmetty.

After 5 minutes of play, M. Pop gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. 13 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as O. Igna broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Felinele. FTW had to make a substitution after 27 minutes. A. Baraboi limped off the field and was replaced by I. Călcâi. A. Chiţacu was the new captain of FTW - handed the armband by the departing player. After 35 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and N. Danciu gave the Felinele supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. R. Pane squirmed through their central defence after 36 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Confident in their lead, Felinele's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The home side's M. Lucaci curled a free kick home after 38 minutes, putting Felinele ahead 5 - 0. 39 minutes in, FTW's M. Burghelea received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Felinele, with 77 percent of the ball.

Felinele solidified their lead at the 50 minute mark, as M. Lucaci dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0. After 59 minutes, D. Boureanu put Felinele ahead 7 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Cheers filled the stadium as R. Pane broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to Felinele. An accurate cross from O. Igna of Felinele was met with a wonderful glancing header from N. Danciu, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 9 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Felinele scored another to make it 10 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for O. Igna after 80 minutes. D. Boureanu increased the lead for Felinele to 11 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! There was concern in the stands when, at the 84 minute mark, Felinele's R. Pane hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Felinele had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

The most dominating Felinele player was without a doubt D. Boureanu. R. Pane on the other hand, had a terrible day. FTW's top performer was clearly M. Slamna. A. Luncaşu turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 11 - 0.
