Steagu_bv tried to focus their attacks down the middle. 16 minutes into the game, F. Mūks almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Making his way up the middle 17 minutes into the match, N. Virtaniemi almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert C. Dormoy blocked it to keep the score level. Steagu_bv had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 31 minutes allowed J. Frączyk to score for Steagu_bv. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. ste@u@ tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. 41 minutes into the game, E. Sanda came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. No matter how hard he tried, L. Charoupis just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 43 minutes. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to ste@u@, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

After 49 minutes, A. Montilla made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 59 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from S. Mellen, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. The ste@u@ players could smell victory in the air. C. Maceda wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for B. Wohlrabb after 60 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the ste@u@ coach let V. Schrauder replace V. Stamenković after 65 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as ste@u@ scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for E. Sanda after 79 minutes. It was a fine day for V. Schrauder on his wing, his cross pass to E. Sanda was especially delicate 83 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. After 85 minutes, ste@u@ raised their score by one when V. Schrauder's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by E. Sanda. 4 - 1. R. Van Landeghem unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. A bit later, Steagu_bv's P. Castolo easily reduced the lead to 4 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, R. Van Landeghem got himself booked. The manager of ste@u@ was not happy. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Steagu_bv, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. ste@u@ had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

ste@u@'s best player was E. Sanda. V. Schrauder on the other hand, had a terrible day. J. Frączyk performed admirably for Steagu_bv. On the other hand, M. Montini's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 2.
