A free kick aimed at the keeper's far post almost gave FC_Timisoara the lead 30 minutes in, but the ball just wasn't able to squirm its way through the defensive wall. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, T. Gyllenbratt was very close to getting through after 31 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. R. As Ş. Neaga had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the X-Team player a red card without batting an eyelid. 70 minutes into the game FC_Timisoara managed a counterattack, but S. Lavik took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but S. Burcea showed great heart and had a good game. A well placed corner kick from S. Burcea was followed by K. Lamhauge's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for X-Team, the score now 1 - 0. X-Team's D. Liegl had an excellent opportunity after 81 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! E. Magni was caught napping as S. Burcea lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. X-Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Á. San Millán Díez performed admirably for X-Team. T. Gyllenbratt on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important FC_Timisoara player was W. Weerbrouck. A. Di Lorenzo turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
