Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. The visitors almost increased their lead after 64 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. The home crowd cheered when, after 71 minutes, M. Bíró's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. The coach of Aldershot was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, C. Nan came on for J. Jové. P. Wirschun left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 77 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Z. Varga was the replacement. STEAUA had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

STEAUA's top performer was clearly V. Lucas-Schultz. O. Corujan turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Aldershot player was M. Bíró. R. Ioniţă was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
