15948 spectators had come to
Stadio Delle Alpi this cloudy day.
Aleksander Stpiczyński was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gabriele Crupi and

Juve tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination.
Starters: Simons - Magaev, Glesch, Bringué, Berns, Rügenwald - Toflea, Radunović, Pignatelli - Renda, Anohin.
Speranta had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Nazaré - Thrane, Matras, Castro Fernandes, Kiera - Ytterstad, Ferreira, Polić-Kamov, Kalmy - Berg, Kausich.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Juve.
9 minutes into the game, Juve had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
Speranta had to make a substitution after 10 minutes.
V. Thrane limped off the field and was replaced by
F. Toma.

Speranta claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
During the break, Juve's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
solid organisation.
With 47 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
A. Kausich of Speranta to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4.
The players of Speranta now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
After 48 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Juve found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
passable.
Speranta's
C. Kalmy was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box -
A. Kausich managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 5 after 49 minutes.
After 56 minutes, the defensive line of Juve created a counterattack through the middle that gave
J. Berns a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
69 minutes in, Juve appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
inadequate.
After 75 minutes
J. Ytterstad made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to
G. Berg who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 0 - 6.
The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as
R. Bringué tried lifting the ball over keeper
A. Nazaré. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar.
After 80 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
A. Matras who increased Speranta's lead to 0 - 7.
Speranta's
G. Berg made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 83 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
Speranta's
G. Berg was shown a yellow card after 85 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
At 86 minutes into the game, Juve's
R. Bringué deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 7.
87 minutes into the game, Juve seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
Speranta enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
Juve's best player was
L. Radunović.
A. Magaev on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Speranta player was without a doubt
A. Kausich.
F. Toma turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 7.
