Clouds darkened the skies at
Emil Alexandrescu as 28109 spectators turned up for the match.
Jörgen Åhlér was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ma Chun-Lam and
David Huygen.

Sultanel clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of FCBv.
At 29 minutes played,
S. Nessler came in from the right with the intention of giving Sultanel the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
N. Papuc, but the Sultanel player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
With 38 minutes played,
N. Gáspár of FCBv fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
N. Papuc got himself booked. The manager of Sultanel was not happy.
Sultanel managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
N. Papuc cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
T. Vrânceanu squirmed through their central defence after 44 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0.
Sultanel claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.
Cheers filled the stadium as
P. Cociş broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Sultanel.
E. Rübenack of FCBv received a yellow card after 82 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
After 83 minutes of play, FCBv's
R. Lupău unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and
S. Cabrera slotted it into the net for 4 - 1.
Sultanel increased the lead as
T. Vrânceanu struck to make the score 5 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
By now, the players in Sultanel felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Sultanel to 6 - 1 as
M. Grosen finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
89 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
M. Grosen broke through, making the score 7 - 1 for Sultanel.
Possession in this half belonged to Sultanel, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.
Most important Sultanel player was
N. Totorean.
K. Aagren was a disappointment, however.

On the other hand,
T. Emami's play was disheartening.
The match ends 7 - 1.
