After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, E. Longhi got himself booked. The manager of FCBv was not happy. forever's F. Cabanillas left the field after 29 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was H. Baraket. Down the middle came M. Epure, making a fantastic play that nearly had forever take the lead after 30 minutes, but T. Emami preserved the tie. FCBv mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 31 minutes, but E. Longhi was unable to convert from short range. forever took the lead after 32 minutes making the score 1 - 2. S. Rabi placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by forever, with 71 percent of the ball.

forever increased their lead after 47 minutes when T. Bacelos broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. The players of forever now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 62 minutes played, I. Penabade of forever fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. T. Emami got a fingertip on J. Klauser's shot from the left 72 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. We may never know what R. Lupău was thinking when he tried to pass the ball through a crowd of opponents. Luckily for him, forever's S. Pais Santos somehow missed the wide open net. After 83 minutes of game time, S. Rabi had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but T. Emami was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. FCBv's R. Lupău was shown a yellow card after 84 minutes for slicing down an opponent. S. Rabi was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so forever's F. Horga had to come off the bench. forever claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

FCBv's best player was S. Cabrera. T. Emami on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating forever player was without a doubt T. Bacelos. H. Baraket was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
