Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Ultras Sibiu Allianz Arena saw a crowd turnout of 22413. Assaf Tamuz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Michele Melchiorre and Giuseppe Toti. Ultras decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Pressing was the tactic of the day for Ultras. Ultras's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. After 23 minutes, D. Cabero came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Ultras the lead. A well placed corner kick from G. Frantzen was followed by E. Foltin's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Ultras, the score now 2 - 0. After 35 minutes, Ultras's G. Frantzen found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 3 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Ultras were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A well-executed free kick by G. Frantzen after 42 minutes made it 4 - 0 for Ultras. With 43 minutes played, Ultras's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to J. Keplinger he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 5 - 0. Ultras's K. Tatar got himself booked for a foul. L. Smuk could have put Ultras up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 44 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Ultras, who controlled the ball 76 percent of the time.

The coach of Ultras was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 50 minutes, F. Berg came on for L. Smuk. The Ultras players could smell victory in the air. D. Cabero wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Kuník after 62 minutes. J. Kuník had a fantastic opportunity to put Ultras up another goal 66 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. F. Dissing wanted to play on, but the Ultras coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by M. Tonoiu. Ultras solidified their lead at the 75 minute mark, as J. Kuník dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0. Ultras increased the lead as J. Kuník struck to make the score 7 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. J. Keplinger squirmed through their central defence after 84 minutes, increasing the lead to 8 - 0. Ultras had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

Ultras's top performer was clearly J. Keplinger. G. Kasella was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Magnificii player was without a doubt C. Racu. F. Husz turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
