dandush 1 - 1 Stafi (381027066)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 54898 had shown up at dandush Arena for the match. Emil-Sven Qualmann was the appointed referee with assistance provided by José Luis Landen and Asante Ludigo-Mkasa. People from all over Petah Tikva had joined up for the derby. A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for dandush. Starters: Bajer - Petrikowsky, Demel, Jabłoński, Drótos - Ivgy, Ceret, Dittrich, Eiriz, Martí - Kastelfranko.

Stafi started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Apuzzo - Stoichitã, Amarelle, Bodurksi - Valdivia, Dego, Linkov, Solheim, Kor - Molborn, Gidziński.

With 13 minutes played P. Petrikowsky almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' G. Apuzzo was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. After 17 minutes, Stafi's T. Stoichitã made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. The crowd was on its feet 23 minutes into the match, as dandush's A. Demel found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. 34 minutes into the game, A. Bodurksi almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Stafi, with 51 percent of the ball.

As the 60 minute mark approached, the Stafi coach decided it was time for a substitution. T. Stoichitã reluctantly made way for E. Claerhout on the pitch. 65 minutes into the game, Stafi wanted to bring some new energy to their game. J. Solheim gave F. Kleinhans a quick hug as he left the field. 70 minutes into the match, the dandush manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. P. Molborn would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. V. Paroli entered the game for Stafi as the match clock showed 70 minutes. With the match clock at 78 minutes, dandush modified their style of play a little bit. When E. Claerhout left the game because of a back injury after 80 minutes, Stafi had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements. Stafi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

M. Drótos performed admirably for dandush. P. Petrikowsky on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Stafi player was B. Gidziński. On the other hand, D. Kor's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
