After this, you could see that the players of Vourkoi were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. With 60 minutes played, Vourkoi's K. Staudinger almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. K. Kourmouzis could have put Vourkoi up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 71 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as K.
