A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 47719 to KOSMODROM. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for KOSMOS. They fielded: Polanecký - Minx, Bořík, Lisztwan, Reynaud - Vařečka, Krpec, Zatloukal, Marcu - Uhrin, Rozehnal.

Predators tactics involved an interesting 4-3-3 combination. Starters: Al Hussein - Altunç, Steuber, Peña, Beneš - Špás, Velička, Kolda - Barberón, Cardona, Lekeš.

Predators clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when R. Peña was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 10 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! KOSMOS took the lead 29 minutes in, as R. Uhrin broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. KOSMOS managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when P. Rozehnal cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. It was 2 - 0 at the break. KOSMOS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

As usual, V. Kolda tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. Coming in from the right, Predators had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 63 minutes, but T. Barberón's attempt to finish was easily stopped. T. Barberón wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. KOSMOS solidified their lead at the 77 minute mark, as P. Rozehnal dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of KOSMOS were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. T. Barberón had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper L. Polanecký was simply unbeatable. KOSMOS's J. Minx was shown a yellow card after 84 minutes for slicing down an opponent. KOSMOS will have to do without Z. Vařečka for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 85 minute mark. He was substituted by A. Puuska. KOSMOS had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating KOSMOS player was without a doubt R. Uhrin. J. Minx on the other hand, had a terrible day. M. Lekeš performed admirably for Predators. On the other hand, K. Velička's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 0.
