A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 30950 to Stadec za Lužánkama. Emil Ardelean was the appointed referee. Jerza tactics involved an interesting 5-2-3 combination. The following players took the field: Charamza - Šilhavý, Melichar, Yding, Kmošek, Flecaru - Pinta, Hrabal - Hochart, Vrbský, Trenev.

BlacKBullS decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. Lineup: Kulhánek - Paladell, Flandera - Žofka, Slaničan, Składanowski, Římal, Janďourek - Gomola, Přibyl, Ledvina.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Jerza. Making his way up the middle 17 minutes into the match, V. Vrbský almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert J. Kulhánek blocked it to keep the score level. Down the middle came L. Janďourek, making a fantastic play that nearly had BlacKBullS take the lead after 20 minutes, but R. Charamza preserved the tie. After 21 minutes, the defensive line of Jerza created a counterattack through the middle that gave Y. Trenev a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. With 25 minutes gone, D. Melichar suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Jerza caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. The corner kick from Y. Trenev was powerfully met by the head of E. Yding to make the score 1 - 0. Coming through the middle D. Gomola almost scored the equaliser for BlacKBullS after 27 minutes, but R. Charamza made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. P. Paladell came close to levelling the score 30 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to BlacKBullS, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

The BlacKBullS players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. D. Melichar enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 53 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but R. Charamza got the best of it, blocking the shot from B. Římal. Jerza's counterattacks created a good chance for K. Pinta on the right after 54 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. As the game started to slip away for BlacKBullS, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. D. Gomola found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. Coming in from the right, Jerza had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 70 minutes, but L. Hrabal's attempt to finish was easily stopped. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave I. Flecaru from Jerza a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 71 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! P. Slaničan of BlacKBullS had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. D. Prskavec came in to finish the match. D. Melichar neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to K. Pinta who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 80 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when D. Prskavec tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. Jerza's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 81 minutes gone, but Z. Kmošek's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. BlacKBullS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

V. Vrbský performed admirably for Jerza. However, D. Melichar made a disastrous appearance. Most important BlacKBullS player was D. Gomola. L. Janďourek was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
