It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 61451 that came out to Boubon Park. Severino Telaeche was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Florent Janssen and Celino López. Mellounkov decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: Zíma - Koppensteiner, Manazzas, Mac Giolla Mháirtín - Lea, Homaei, Holý, Hasalík, Caballero - Sýkora, Ghelardoni.

Bouba took the lead 6 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as S. Cangaceiro elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. E. Caballero of Mellounkov was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 23 minutes Mellounkov's J. Hasalík limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. P. Wenner's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Cheers filled the stadium as A. Åkerner broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Bouba. After 39 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and P. Wenner gave the Bouba supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Bouba lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 1, as P. Manazzas struck home, set up well by a play on the left 40 minutes into the match. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Bouba enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

M. Hoření had a fantastic opportunity to put Bouba up another goal 51 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The intense heat forced J. Hasalík into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. The Bouba players could smell victory in the air. B. Gagula wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Kaalep after 65 minutes. A well placed corner kick from D. Koppensteiner was followed by P. Manazzas's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Mellounkov, the score now 3 - 2. 69 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Åkerner broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Bouba. C. Kühlböck wanted to play on, but the Bouba coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by L. Minguella. Bouba's J. Noromies got himself booked for a foul. M. Marchand left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Fransman was the replacement. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their E. Caballero reduced the lead to make it 4 - 3 after 82 minutes, following a pass from the right. Bouba had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

The most dominating Bouba player was without a doubt P. Wenner. J. Fransman on the other hand, had a terrible day. F. Ghelardoni performed admirably for Mellounkov. However, P. Manazzas made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 3.
