Konrad Grzywaczyk was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Peter Kullenstrand and Bastien Strahler. Dostabastr tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Tintoré's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. With the clock showing 85 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Dostabastr resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by M. Corvaglia in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. As B. Jernigan had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Dostabastr player a red card without batting an eyelid. Dostabastr's R.
