Salák, but the Sufferers player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! KORFouni caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 7 minutes into the match. D. Fournier was able to finish off the move - 1 - 1. Many thought M. Motyčka ought to have been awarded a penalty 22 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around P. Beaufrère after a determined run through the middle. T. Bičan sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from J. Grossmann after 23 minutes of play, making the score 2 - 1. The visitors' M. De Marzi was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 2 - 2 after 31 minutes. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sufferers, with 64 percent of the ball.

In a rapid move 55 minutes into the match, R. Juraga of KORFouni lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked F. Belotti who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 3. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! The sunny day didn't make things easy for D. Fournier who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. Sufferers's D. Rohovský made an attempt at equalising 73 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. D. Fournier stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving KORFouni the goal to make it 2 - 4. 82 minutes into the game, KORFouni had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. The referee showed Sufferers's D. Rohovský the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. M. De Marzi enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Sufferers refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, L. Salák managed to slip the ball home for 3 - 4. Sufferers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

Sufferers's top performer was clearly L. Salák. C. Hannig was a disappointment, however. KORFouni's best player was J. Milota. However, D. Fournier made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 4.
