(381374928)

14-07-2012 11.30
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 30901 had shown up at
RED BULL Arena for the match.
Eus Harperink was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jan-Willem aan de Wiel and
Ali Kuenstler.
Nečutnemsi decided to use a 4-5-1 set up.
They fielded: Salcı - Appel, Schendzielorz, Vad-Jensen, Tervamaa - Drummen, Jansen-Cremer, Vyleta, Vala, Manev - Ballester.
Sons started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Rera - Puzinovas, Meloun, Treppmann - Mæhlum, Brandão, Směja, Petřík, Zumbrunnen - Larsson, Hachet.
Nečutnemsi clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
Sons saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for Sons, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
After 13 minutes, following yet another great corner,
A. Appel's flick on at the near post reached
V. Manev, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick.
With 16 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Sons resulted in a counterattack that set
F. Puzinovas free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save.
After a fine move down the middle
F. Ballester nearly gave the home side a goal after 17 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
Nečutnemsi's
F. Ballester tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders.
Halftime score was 0 - 0.
Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
The cannonball from 35 metres by
A. Appel of Nečutnemsi was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net.
W. Schendzielorz got left behind when Sons's
S. Hachet made a sudden run forward after 67 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 0 - 1!
The Nečutnemsi coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.
69 minutes into the match, Nečutnemsi's
F. Ballester maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1.
Sons's
M. Treppmann was shown a yellow card after 72 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
M. Vyleta's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Nečutnemsi, he bravely continued in the match.
With 75 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending.
M. Larsson put the ball away for 1 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
P. Vala from Nečutnemsi a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 76 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Sons had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
H. Jansen-Cremer performed admirably for Nečutnemsi.
M. Vyleta turned in a dismal performance, however.
The most dominating Sons player was without a doubt
S. Hachet.
On the other hand,
S. Mæhlum's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 2.
