I. Tămaş, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass.
-DJECO- managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
J. Spálovský cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
G. Chahal increased the lead for -DJECO- to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
-DJECO- solidified their lead at the 33 minute mark, as
A. Chapotot dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0.
It was 4 - 0 at the break.
-DJECO- had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.
With 62 minutes played, -DJECO- put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
I. Tămaş, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
The players of -DJECO- now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in -DJECO-'s
D. Nedyalkov increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
J. Jolačić. At last, Planá's
W. Szulga was able to backheel the ball in. 6 - 1.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as -DJECO- scored another to make it 7 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
D. Jaszcz after 76 minutes.
After 80 minutes, the defensive line of Planá created a counterattack through the middle that gave
W. Szulga a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
87 minutes into the match, the speedy
J. Geldhof easily outpaced
J. Hanna, chipped the keeper and made the score 8 - 1.
M. Hrabovský could have put -DJECO- up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 88 minutes.
