The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to W. Derwa, but the Lux player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! The referee showed Avantgard-Wroncky's S. Serban the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 42 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as E. Larsson broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Lux. By now, the players in Lux felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Avantgard-Wroncky's S. Fyhrborn got himself booked for a foul. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Lux enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

With 46 minutes played, the Avantgard-Wroncky coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. L. Hansen came on, S. Serban had to leave the fray. Lux put themselves up 4 - 1 when W. Derwa broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 55 minutes played, Lux put themselves up 5 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to C. Palazzolo, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. M. García of Avantgard-Wroncky was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. E. Drobílek could have increased the lead after 78 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Avantgard-Wroncky almost scored after a counterattack 79 minutes into the match, but N. Mândru took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Lux had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Lux's best player was S. Maltsev. R. Strazzari turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Avantgard-Wroncky player was S. Oparin. On the other hand, N. Mândru's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
