The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 43657 had shown up at Pajsek Arena for the match. The wings were the focus of most of Bystřice's attacks today. Bušek showed off their creative tactics. The visiting J. Barranco was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 17 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. 25 minutes in, Bystřice's S. Larsen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The Bušek free kick 38 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of J. Barranco, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 2! 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Bušek claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Bušek's K. Ślusarczyk put the visitors up 0 - 3 after 68 minutes. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Bušek lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. D. Čaban wanted to play on, but the Bušek coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 69 minutes into the game by J. Pazdera. The coach of Bušek was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 71 minutes, M. Žofka came on for O. Valta. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Kęcik from Bušek a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 74 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! O. Zemek was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Bystřice's J. von Schrottenberg had to come off the bench. The visitors' J. Barranco took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 79 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Bušek. By then J. Barranco had scored three goals - a hat trick! Some fine movement on the left led to a Bušek goal after 86 minutes, making it 0 - 5. N. Signer was noted down as the scorer. M. Žofka received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 88 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The Bušek fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Bušek enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Bystřice's top performer was clearly S. Larsen. Z. Václavíček turned in a dismal performance, however. M. Žofka performed admirably for Bušek. F. Viry was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
