Arnold went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. Kopecek's M. Kopecek made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left M. Fikr completely alone with keeper R. Winders, who made a spectacular block. It was 1 - 1 at the break. FCSAK took the lead after H. Heimel curved a free kick into the net. 1 - 2 Kopecek's M. Arnold almost tied things up with 71 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. FCSAK hit back on the counter attack 72 minutes into the game with a free kick. Initially it seemed wasted, hit wide towards the wing. Maass had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. The crowd groaned when M. Arnold, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Kopecek. Content with how the game was proceeding, the FCSAK coach let R. Kaiser replace P. Barozzi after 80 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Kopecek, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

The most dominating Kopecek player was without a doubt M. Arnold. E. Sierpowski turned in a dismal performance, however. FCSAK's best player was M. Kamenov. R. Winders on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
