Clear skies welcomed the 46050 spectators who had made their way to Alfa Plzeň. Nicolaas Barnhoorn was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jens Hunkeler and Sven-Ulfert Villa. Alfatetech decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Rivero Miró - Písek, Vezentan, Stankov - Kijonka, Yáñez-Fajardo, Preston, Žežulka, Šanovec - Olšan, Lengál.

Snipers tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. Starters: Aguas - Cheatle, Přibyla, Energin - Markmann, Purset, Maguolo, Stobiecki - Maffei, Špok, Kužel.

After 4 minutes of play, E. Žežulka gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Alfatetech's T. Stankov increasing the lead to 2 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Alfatetech lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. V. Vezentan unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Alfatetech claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

With 52 minutes played, P. Olšan could have brought this one home for Alfatetech as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. With 62 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Snipers showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when A. Purset got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 63 minutes, Snipers tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. Alfatetech enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

The most dominating Alfatetech player was without a doubt P. Olšan. E. Žežulka was a disappointment, however. Most important Snipers player was J. Špok. On the other hand, I. Maguolo's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 1.
