D. Girault tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders.
With the clock showing 3 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Frýdlant resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by
P. Stéphan in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high.
Benešov had a chance to take the lead after
T. Graupel's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 4 minutes.
The referee showed Benešov's
M. Kollár the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Benešov took the lead after 29 minutes as a result of
M. Foret's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0.
A. Milkovski was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions.
T. Graupel had a fantastic opportunity to put Benešov up another goal 39 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
Benešov increased the lead as
D. Collar struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.

J. Wichowski stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Frýdlant the goal to make it 4 - 1.
Benešov enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.
