Acsinte put the ball away for 0 - 1. 6 minutes into the match, Pixík's R. Bigas maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing - M. Greeven's free kick had found the back of the net and put Pixík ahead 2 - 1! Pixík's J. Landa saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 24 minutes. It was obvious that Čmoudi had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Čmoudi almost scored after a counterattack 26 minutes into the match, but G. Minati took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Pixík enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. B. Lála squirmed through their central defence after 56 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. With 57 minutes played, the Čmoudi coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. L. Dvořák came on, L. Çelaj had to leave the fray. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, D. Reeves took over the role of being the Čmoudi captain. Čmoudi needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 62 minutes Z. Egermaier made way for J. Pérez Urbina. J. Landa of Pixík seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 4 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by M. Greeven. The referee showed Čmoudi's D. Reeves the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. There was concern in the stands when, at the 78 minute mark, Čmoudi's M. Mogliati hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. 80 minutes in, Čmoudi's J. Pérez Urbina received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pixík, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important Pixík player was P. Zubalík. However, P. Toft Nielsen made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Čmoudi player was without a doubt C. Acsinte. Š. Tondl was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
