Dark skies made the crowd of 12000 at Fk Svitavy Arena Stadium a little nervous, but the rain held off. Matteo Bove was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kleofas Wichniewicz and Ville Maksula. The derby had been the talk of Hlavní město Praha all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium. Svitavy started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Douda - Mejta, Hamernik, Štádler, Židlický - Oberreiter, Míka, Jurajda, Hamáček - Pošta, Książak.

A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Čisovice. The following players had been chosen: Kníže - Rubeš, Sedlák, Štemberk - Měšťan, Stašek, Sedmík, Šalanda - Pedra, Šedivec, Novák.

Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by Čisovice. Čisovice focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 12 minutes M. Šalanda fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. With 34 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. P. Šedivec put the ball away for 0 - 1. With 35 minutes played, Š. Měšťan of Čisovice fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 38 minutes, Čisovice raised their score by one when M. Šalanda's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by D. Novák. 0 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when M. Šalanda came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 41 minutes. Čisovice were now up 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Čisovice were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 44 minutes into the game, Čisovice were awarded a penalty and T. Stašek was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 4 rolling the ball in by the right post. After 44 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Š. Měšťan who increased Čisovice's lead to 0 - 5. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. Čisovice had most of the ball, with 78 percent of possession.

The home keeper was stunned 50 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by T. Stašek and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 6. A drive down the left side allowed M. Sedlák to get in close and score another goal for Čisovice after 54 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7. M. Sedlák increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 8. D. Novák received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 72 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 9. The Čisovice fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. T. Stašek of Čisovice took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 75 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 10. By then T. Stašek had scored three goals - a hat trick! Čisovice enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 80 percent of possession.

Svitavy's top performer was clearly V. Hamáček. P. Hamernik turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Čisovice player was O. Pedra. However, R. Rubeš made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 10.
