The 27000 spectators at
Přehrada were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Mateo Lugović was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Peter Richardsson and
Dov Valdman.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Hlavní město Praha derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
Pytláci started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Yılmaz - Waterreus, Wallace, Velázquez - Šuk, Åhnblom, Falconio, Laursen, De Nunzio - Vidigal, Fray.
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Free.
The following players had been chosen: Cozea - Marcelino, Řehák, Petersen - Volhejn, Salmerón, Sörensson, Ehnstrand - Gagna, Simendić, Hipenza.
At 10 minutes played,
P. Åhnblom came in from the right with the intention of giving Pytláci the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
The sun seemed to put
V. Řehák in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
Pytláci took the lead after 22 minutes as a result of
P. Åhnblom's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0.
P. Åhnblom could have increased the lead after 25 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
One of many good crosses from
O. Šuk on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by
F. Fray, who scored for Pytláci. 2 - 0
Free reduced the deficit to 2 - 1 with a penalty placed perfectly beside the left post by
M. Ehnstrand.
K. Petersen finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 39 minutes into the match.
2 - 2 was the halftime score.
Pytláci had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.
It wasn't a good day at all for
P. Falconio. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day.
The guests almost went up by a goal after 66 minutes when
P. Sörensson came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 77 minutes, but
T. Yılmaz made a beautiful one-handed save.
M. Simendić came close to putting the visiting team one up 81 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but
T. Yılmaz managed to tip the ball to a corner.
Pytláci enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
Most important Pytláci player was
P. Falconio.
T. Yılmaz turned in a dismal performance, however.
Free's top performer was clearly
M. Gagna.
On the other hand,
M. Volhejn's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 2.
