previous 5/10 next 7/10  Mniší 0 - 2 Chachaři (381419503)

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Minch Arena saw a crowd turnout of 6879. Axel Fuerndrath was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Christian Zinsholz and Simo Püss. People from all over Moravskoslezský kraj had joined up for the derby. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Mniší. Lineup: Babiy - Barchánek, Grycz, Malát - Ladič, Kalas, Sommer, Camedda, Ciucias - Desenský, Profous.

Chachaři decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. The following players took the field: Nejati - Panchartek, Šimr, Zajíc, Rückl - Costella, Glogar, Frais - Feliksiak, Halíř, Nerad.

It was obvious that Chachaři were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. The pressing tactics used by Chachaři were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 8 minutes allowed V. Frais to score for Chachaři. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. It might be a while before the fans see Mniší's I. Grycz again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 12 minute mark. He was replaced by R. Finkenberg. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Mniší, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

Mniší put pressure on the visitors' central defence 73 minutes into the game, but O. Profous couldn't find an opening. With 77 minutes played, after a good run down the left, O. Profous went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. Chachaři's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. P. Nerad of Chachaři was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish R. Finkenberg, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 2. Mniší enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

The most dominating Mniší player was without a doubt B. Desenský. However, R. Finkenberg made a disastrous appearance. Chachaři's top performer was clearly V. Šimr. M. Glogar turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
