A scorching day at
FC Kutna Hora Arena 88, where 12010 spectators were in place for today's match.
Lorenzo Reuder was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Pierre Eggemann and
Franci Tomazin.
kutna tactics involved an interesting 5-2-2 combination.
Lineup: Götz - Soukeník, Heinrich, Korvas, Beránek, Štaubert - Nistor, Žežulka - Vik, Černovský.
nadějkov had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Pribula - Sovák, Nozar, Pijaca, Sirotek - Pomykal, Vejsada, Vilhelm, Rozman - Vašek, Slonka.
kutna decided to play creatively.
After 22 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as kutna found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
weak.
The visiting
L. Vejsada was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 26 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
After 35 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
J. Rozman a chance to increase the lead for nadějkov, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Nozar from nadějkov a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 42 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
It was 0 - 2 at the break.
Possession in this half belonged to nadějkov, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.
A review of the gameplan helped kutna get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
With 47 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
P. Slonka of nadějkov to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3.
After 79 minutes of play, kutna's
A. Beránek unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and
R. Černovský slotted it into the net for 1 - 3.
It wasn't a good day at all for
L. Vejsada. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day.
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
F. Nozar was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 86 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
87 minutes into the game, kutna had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
After 88 minutes, nadějkov's
L. Vejsada burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4.
After this, you could see that the players of nadějkov were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
nadějkov had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.
kutna's top performer was clearly
R. Černovský.
S. Heinrich was a disappointment, however.
Most important nadějkov player was
M. Pribula.
On the other hand,
O. Pomykal's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 4.
