After 7 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and I. Aranda gave the Zandov supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; V. Čopák made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 2 - 1 10 minutes into the match. Schlachter increased the lead to 4 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 30 minutes. 4 - 2 was the score after the first half. Zandov claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.

Zandov increased the lead as M. Wimberger struck to make the score 5 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Zandov had to make a substitution after 78 minutes. V. Vaimare limped off the field and was replaced by G. Dervarics. P. Ingalls was the new captain of Zandov - handed the armband by the departing player. With 82 minutes played, Zandov's N. Bastiaanse almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Some mind-boggling play by R. Kašparec almost resulted in a goal for Inferno, but V. Čopák's shot rebounded off the post. With 87 minutes played, G. Dervarics of Zandov fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Zandov had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

The most dominating Zandov player was without a doubt R. Kašparec. G. Dervarics was a disappointment, however. Inferno's top performer was clearly J. Kamenský. P. Hoekstra turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 2.
