It was an obvious ambition of ACSM to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by CzechLions. ACSM fans held their breath as C. Cutrono scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! R. Mikalajunas looked to be heading one way when he unexpectedly passed the ball to M. Krzyżok. The move caught everyone off-guard, including his teammate, who panicked and kicked the ball out of play by accident. A. Labraña Martinez hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving ACSM's S. Murdock an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 0. ACSM's Á. Kozma had an excellent opportunity after 25 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! After 27 minutes, Á. Kozma put ACSM ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The referee showed CzechLions's V. Perarnau the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. S. Murdock increased the lead for ACSM to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After this, you could see that the players of ACSM were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. It was obvious that ACSM had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Things were deteriorating for the away team as ACSM scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Redureau after 41 minutes. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. ACSM enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.

53 minutes into the match M. Norem put ACSM ahead 6 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in ACSM's M. Krzyżok increasing the lead to 7 - 0. CzechLions's T. Pešat was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home side's A. Labraña Martinez came close to extending the lead 70 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but M. Porath managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. ACSM managed to extend their lead to 8 - 0 when R. Mikalajunas cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. ACSM's J. de Morais increased the lead to 9 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 81 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to ACSM, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

K. Grigorov performed admirably for ACSM. On the other hand, J. de Morais's play was disheartening. Most important CzechLions player was V. Houra. However, D. Hutař made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 9 - 0.
