previous 3/10 next 5/10  Královské 10 - 0 Cervinhos (381439410)

Clouds darkened the skies at Evergreen Stadium as 25790 spectators turned up for the match. Yahya Kassab was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ove Nilsson and Veikko Bastman. Královské had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Volín - Pappalardo, Masats, Taelman - Roušal, Pinazzi, Lakatos, Eguía, Jurček - Jach, Tirpák.

Cervinhos tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Paroubek - Dorda, Koutský, Juchelka, Klouček - Chmiel, Belda, Kozma, Štech - Sklenka, Buřil.

After some beautiful movement down the left wing, F. Pappalardo scored for Královské putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 8 minutes. With 19 minutes played, Královské put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to L. Tirpák, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Královské increased the lead as D. Roušal struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After this, you could see that the players of Královské were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Královské managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when L. Tirpák cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Královské enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 81 percent of possession.

R. Jach struck a 30 metre free kick home 55 minutes into the match. 5 - 0 for the home team. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Královské to 6 - 0 as O. Taelman finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Královské scored another to make it 7 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for R. Jach after 59 minutes. D. Roušal's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert L. Tirpák was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Královské. 8 - 0. At that, L. Tirpák was noted down for a hat trick! L. Tirpák increased the lead for Královské to 9 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Královské solidified their lead at the 69 minute mark, as A. Masats dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 10 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Královské, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

Most important Královské player was R. Jach. T. Volín turned in a dismal performance, however. K. Chmiel performed admirably for Cervinhos. However, H. Juchelka made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 10 - 0.
