The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Šibor from Havířov a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 79 minutes gone, Havířov had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, R. Šibor did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. 80 minutes in, Havířov's F. Lyka received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Stephanova were forced into a substitution as M. Alunni-Macerini couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing O. Foster to come in off the bench. 82 minutes into the game, M. Pautrot was a hair's breadth away from giving Havířov the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by A. Sokhi saved the home team that time. Havířov took the lead after 83 minutes making the score 0 - 1. F. Bourdon placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Němec should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Havířov a goal with 84 minutes of the match played. F. Schoeller received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Havířov fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Havířov lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in this half belonged to Havířov, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Stephanova's best player was M. Němec. A. Sokhi on the other hand, had a terrible day. F. Bourdon performed admirably for Havířov. G. Lora turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
