previous 2/4 next 4/4  Dobešov 0 - 4 Tucapy (381493491)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at Bahňák for the match. Uwe Santa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Timmy Pelleboer and Oscar Segredo. Dobešov tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Starters: Pertl - Lát, Matonoha, Mariánek, Šantora - Kobylka, Řáda, Holec, Sokol - Kott, Drápalík.

Tucapy had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Kujal - Poledna, Haltmar, Koutecký, Vepřek - Lískovec, Cejnar, Moc, Škoch - Skalický, Bláha.

After 23 minutes, Tucapy put themselves up 0 - 1, as T. Vepřek finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. A. Matonoha of Dobešov was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The visitors' V. Moc took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 41 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Tucapy. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tucapy, with 51 percent of the ball.

With 64 minutes played, M. Mariánek of Dobešov fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Tucapy increased the lead to 0 - 3 as F. Poledna scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. The referee signalled a penalty 77 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. F. Poledna knocked it home to make the score 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Tucapy were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. What was F. Haltmar thinking? That's what everyone wondered when, for no apparent reason, he shot a cross pass over his own penalty area, giving L. Kott an extra chance, but unfortunately for Dobešov, he didn't get the shot right. Possession in this half belonged to Tucapy, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Most important Dobešov player was M. Mariánek. J. Pertl on the other hand, had a terrible day. Tucapy's top performer was clearly F. Poledna. E. Koutecký was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
