Teplice 7 - 0 Dobešov (381493499)

7717 punters turned up at FK Teplice Stínadla, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Jean-Pierre Bolinger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marek Hamera and Rogelio Ulloa. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Teplice. Starters: Koutný - Karhan, Holinka, Daněk, Spurný - Sokol, Matonoha, Pivnička, Trejbal - Dupal, Nachlinger.

Dobešov had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Pertl - Lát, Matonoha, Mariánek, Šantora - Kobylka, Řáda, Holec, Sokol - Kott, Drápalík.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Teplice. At 16 minutes played, D. Nachlinger came in from the right with the intention of giving Teplice the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. J. Holec's lack of experience almost gave Teplice a goal after 33 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. With 38 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as D. Nachlinger flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Teplice's L. Matonoha increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Sokol broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Teplice. By now, the players in Teplice felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Teplice, with 73 percent of the ball.

After 56 minutes, J. Sokol put Teplice ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 72 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as D. Nachlinger broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Teplice. Teplice managed to extend their lead to 6 - 0 when A. Holinka cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Teplice scored another to make it 7 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. Trejbal after 86 minutes. With 88 minutes played, L. Kott of Dobešov fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Teplice's D. Nachlinger put in a disappointing effort on a penalty after 88 minutes, firing just wide of the goal. Teplice had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.

The most dominating Teplice player was without a doubt D. Dupal. On the other hand, B. Koutný's play was disheartening. Dobešov's best player was M. Mariánek. J. Pertl was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
