Dynamis 8 - 0 Madrid (381493511)

A scorching day at Dynamic Arena, where 5707 spectators were in place for today's match. Romeo De Lathouwer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tim Spirig and Martin Mörnstål. Dynamis had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Váňa - Šotek, Kocík, Nožka, Seník - Rosecký, Růčka, Fanta, Kubín - Kohut, Taraba.

Madrid decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Joura - Soukal, Křupala, Láznička, Berger - Křivánek, Šiška, Grzegórzek, Theuer - Jordán, Macas.

Dynamis took the lead after 17 minutes as a result of D. Kubín's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Dynamis scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for R. Nožka after 21 minutes. Against a lesser team, Dynamis could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 22 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Cheers filled the stadium as R. Rosecký broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Dynamis. The players of Dynamis now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 29 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and R. Rosecký gave the Dynamis supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dynamis, with 68 percent of the ball.

With 49 minutes played, Dynamis put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to S. Kohut, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Dynamis put themselves up 6 - 0 when A. Šotek broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. V. Kocík's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. 64 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as S. Kohut broke through, making the score 7 - 0 for Dynamis. Dynamis managed to extend their lead to 8 - 0 when H. Fanta cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Possession in this half belonged to Dynamis, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

D. Seník performed admirably for Dynamis. D. Kubín was a disappointment, however. Madrid's best player was J. Theuer. B. Soukal on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 8 - 0.
