Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 55580 to
Aligatori Arena.
Piet Bartek was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Morten Nygaard and
Trygve Stokstad.
Aligatori started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.

Aligatori's
C. Muralla made an attempt at equalising 29 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound.
36 minutes in, and Aligatori were able to score the equalising goal to make it 1 - 1 when
C. Muralla picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper.
It was 1 - 1 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Aligatori, with 57 percent of the ball.
The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 47 minutes, but
A. Baratto made a beautiful one-handed save.
Aligatori created a good opportunity to score 60 minutes into the match when
C. Muralla's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.

As the game started to slip away for Aligatori, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
A. Brīdiņš showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for owned after 71 minutes to make the score 1 - 3.
After 76 minutes, Aligatori used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach.
