Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 55580 to Aligatori Arena. Piet Bartek was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Morten Nygaard and Trygve Stokstad. With the clock showing 26 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of owned resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by A. Brīdiņš in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Aligatori's C. Muralla made an attempt at equalising 29 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. 36 minutes in, and Aligatori were able to score the equalising goal to make it 1 - 1 when C. Muralla picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Aligatori, with 57 percent of the ball.

The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 47 minutes, but A. Baratto made a beautiful one-handed save. Aligatori created a good opportunity to score 60 minutes into the match when C. Muralla's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 1 - 2 was the score with 65 minutes played, after A. Šteinbergs cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for owned. As the game started to slip away for Aligatori, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. A. Brīdiņš showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for owned after 71 minutes to make the score 1 - 3. After 76 minutes, Aligatori used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. The Aligatori players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. 83 minutes in, owned's M. Lavizani received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The Aligatori coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. Aligatori had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

Most important Aligatori player was C. Muralla. F. Company on the other hand, had a terrible day. A. Šteinbergs performed admirably for owned. On the other hand, M. Lavizani's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
