Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Zv's S. Hayal was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 55 minutes. A. Savino was given a chance to change things around. A. Savino challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 56 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. 61 minutes into the game, SANDIMUS worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The bench was restless, and with 65 minutes passed Zv's coach gave M. Gregnanin the opportunity the player had been hoping for. E. Dapoto reluctantly left the field. Zv reduced the lead to 1 - 2 with 69 minutes on the clock when A. Savino got the best of a ball floated in from the left. With 70 minutes played, the Zv coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. F. Beira Santos came on, J. Benedetto had to leave the fray.
