It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 67562 that came out to Privaatais kartupelju lauks. Wout van der Zanden was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jaapjan Gordijn and Maarten Rijks. Fk-Alverts tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Fk-Alverts showed off their creative tactics. Having turned the direction of play quickly, the VELNI counter attack ended as the ball carrier was brought down violently by a defender after 10 minutes. The resulting free kick was a flat shot into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and did not allow the opponents to reach the ball. There was concern in the stands when, at the 21 minute mark, VELNI's P. Muhammed hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. VELNI had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 22 minutes in when E. Krievs came up alone against R. Malcharczyk who managed a block. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Fk-Alverts claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

E. Krievs neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to O. Visockis who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 61 minutes, Fk-Alverts did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, R. Schlienz was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 0. H. Pichaim's speed was clear to see after 63 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released R. Schlienz who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 2 - 0. D. Peralta sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from V. Kablukovich after 64 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 0. J. Larkkonen's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Fk-Alverts enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

Most important Fk-Alverts player was R. Schlienz. R. Malcharczyk turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating VELNI player was without a doubt P. Muhammed. However, K. Shashenkov made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
