Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and The Great Black J Arena saw a crowd turnout of 56922. The EA-united free kick 33 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Z. Florczyk, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 2! EA-united's P. Gulis left the field after 39 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Dūkurs. At 40 minutes into the game, BlackJacks's E. Valbahs deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to BlackJacks, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

After 76 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as EA-united found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. BlackJacks's O. Feldmanis was shown a yellow card after 84 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 85 minutes, O. Feldmanis got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. 86 minutes into the game, O. Dalsgård finished off a EA-united left wing counterattack, making the score 1 - 3. 87 minutes into the match, BlackJacks's L. Igonin collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 2 - 3. 88 minutes into the game, EA-united worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. BlackJacks tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. 89 minutes into the game EA-united managed a counterattack, but R. Bejenaru took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. EA-united's A. Baušķis was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 89 minutes. EA-united almost scored after a counterattack 89 minutes into the match, but A. Baušķis took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BlackJacks, with 70 percent of the ball.

Most important BlackJacks player was O. Feldmanis. Y. Gudkov turned in a dismal performance, however. R. Bejenaru performed admirably for EA-united. A. Dūkurs on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
