Krasti could have put themselves ahead after 26 minutes but R. Elhami missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. With 26 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as P. Mečišák flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. Valmiera's T. Tenti was shown a yellow card after 28 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, P. Suárez of Krasti spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Krasti to 2 - 0 as M. Nordström finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Krasti scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for A. Trillo after 35 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Krasti, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Krasti's A. Trillo struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 47 minutes. Confident in their lead, Krasti's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 55 minutes into the game, Krasti were awarded a penalty that A. Krasti's best player was A. Trillo. F. Niccolini was a disappointment, however. R. Enríquez performed admirably for Valmiera. S. Bębacz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
