Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 43306 to Obizajesh Arena. Heriberto Horna was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sławomir Badełek and David Fransson. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Obizajesh. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, A. Samuels would have put Sven up another goal 24 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Obizajesh's F. Hansen had a hard, curved free kick after 26 minutes that would have paid off, had it gone just a little lower. The goal for 0 - 2 was a funny story: after 33 minutes the seemingly nonchalant lob from Sven's D. Almuíña landed at the feet of B. Thyrring who sidefooted it into the net - nice goal! At 38 minutes into the game, Obizajesh's H. Fifić deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Obizajesh enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

B. Thyrring received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 68 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Sven fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for B. Thyrring. Obizajesh's O. Grīnbergs's long shot really ought to have found the net 82 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. Obizajesh had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

J. Monteiro Mendes performed admirably for Obizajesh. F. Hansen turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Sven player was B. Thyrring. On the other hand, D. Almuíña's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
